Christ's Church is an independent non-denominational church (self-governing through an eldership); "We're not the only Christians, but Christians only."  We have modeled ourselves after the New Testament church; in essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty and in all things love.

How We Live:

We are living in tumultuous times where tolerance, entertainment, entitlement and moral relativism have become gods in our society. It’s like people are trying to stuff these gods into their empty lives and hearts to find their value, their identity and their purpose. But even in spite of our times or our circumstances God has given us a very special gift to help us be filled, to be valued, and to make an impact on this world. It’s called Biblical community; living life in community – eating together, worshipping together, serving together.  Living as a family is a way of life, not a hour duty on Sunday morning.  The church body is a gift God has given us while we walk in a broken world, living not as disconnected individuals but living life with extended family.

Get in touch, let's have a coffee together & talk about our stories

God is always working upstream in our lives. Little did we know that walking through a Costco at the end of 2014 would eventually lead us to a city in New Mexico that we had never heard of.  But through a series of events, promptings from the Holy Spirit and seeing God’s fingerprints pointing to Las Cruces, we accepted an invitation to come out to Las Cruces by Christian Church Starters in July 2015.  Our purpose was to clearly hear God’s voice about coming here to plant a new church.  It was there on a ridge that overlooked the city and Mesilla Valley of 130,000 people that God stirred our hearts with a “Come to Las Cruces for the work that I have prepared you for”. God has placed a love and burden for the people of southern New Mexico in our hearts.

Our Beliefs

We believe... The Bible is the inspired Word of God, is completely God ‐breathed, reliably passed down to us, and is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

We believe... In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe... Jesus Christ is true God and true man. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the grave and ascended to Heaven where He is our Advocate. One day Jesus will return to earth as victorious Lord.

We believe... The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict people of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living, service and transformation.

We believe... People were created in the image of God, but are now separated from God by sin. Faith in Jesus, based on His Death and Resurrection, is the only way for mankind to be reconciled to God. God's grace calls all people to: faith, repentance, confession, baptism, and new life and ministry through the Spirit.

We believe... Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are expressions of faith in Jesus Christ that are to be observed by the Church.

We believe... The true Church is composed of all people who have trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ established His Church on earth to carry out His saving mission among all ethnic people groups and formed Her to be one holy people for Himself. The church is identified locally by ministering congregations.
