Our Core Values:

1   “God loves people so we love people.” Luke 15
2  "Christians help bear other people's burdens."  Galatians 6:1-6
3  "Authenticity frees people to be honest with God, others and self." James 1:22-27
4  "The Church speaks to today's issues under God's wisdom."  Acts 17:22-32
5  "Full devotion to Christ is normal for every believer." Philippians 3:8-16, Psalm 63:1-8
6  "Life change happens best in community."  Acts 2:42-47
7  "The Church should strive for excellence; it honors God and inspires people."  Colossians 3:15-24
8  "Worship is a way of life."  Romans 12:1-2, Colossians 3:15-17
9  "Prayer is the lifeline of the church." Ephesians 6:18
10 "God's gift to you is to be used in serving Christ by serving others." Romans 12:4-11

Christ's Church is an independent non-denominational church (self-governing through an eldership); "We're not the only Christians, but Christians only."  We have modeled ourselves after the New Testament church; in essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty and in all things love.

How We Live:

We are living in tumultuous times where tolerance, entertainment, entitlement and moral relativism have become gods in our society. It’s like people are trying to stuff these gods into their empty lives and hearts to find their value, their identity and their purpose. But even in spite of our times or our circumstances God has given us a very special gift to help us be filled, to be valued, and to make an impact on this world. It’s called Biblical community; living life in community – eating together, worshipping together, serving together.  Living as a family is a way of life, not a hour duty on Sunday morning.  The church body is a gift God has given us while we walk in a broken world, living not as disconnected individuals but living life with extended family.
